How does the 7-day free trial work?
Start your trial, enter your card, and you have 7 days of full access. Your card isn't charged until day 8. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged a cent. After day 8 you're billed at your plan rate (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
How long does setup actually take?
We move at the pace your business needs. After you complete the 8-minute intake form, our team builds your AI receptionist and gets it ready for testing. Simple setups go faster; multi-location or custom integration builds take longer. You'll be live within the trial period in most cases.
Do I need to pay a setup fee?
No. All AI Reception tiers include done-for-you setup at no extra cost. We build, configure, and tune your AI for you. No setup fee, no professional services add-on, no enterprise-only tier.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing saves you 20% — about 2.4 months of free service per year. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time. The free trial works the same on either billing interval.
How many minutes do I get? What happens if I go over?
Every plan includes unlimited minutes with a fair-use threshold designed for service businesses. Most operators never come close to the threshold — AI Receptionist captures MISSED calls, not every call. If you're approaching the threshold, we'll reach out to talk through your usage and the best plan for you.
What happens after a storm, when I get 50 calls in a day?
Nothing changes on your bill — and nothing goes to voicemail. Per-minute answering services get expensive exactly when a storm hits; Orzenta is a flat monthly rate, so the AI just keeps answering. Can it handle insurance claim calls?

Can I add more phone numbers?
Yes. Additional phone numbers are $19/mo each on any plan. Essentials and Starter include 1 number, Growth includes 2, Pro includes 5.
What does multi-location number routing mean?
If your business has multiple locations, Pro lets you route incoming calls to the right location's AI receptionist with location-specific knowledge built in. Each location can have its own greeting, hours, and FAQs.
Can I integrate with my existing CRM or scheduling software?
Yes. Pro tier includes direct native integration with Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan — job scheduled triggers, job completed triggers, and customer creation actions all wire in without middleware. For other tools (Jobber, Salesforce, Cal.com, Calendly, QuickBooks, and 5,000+ more), Pro includes API access plus Zapier integrations. Does the AI sound like a robot?

What if a lead needs a human?
The AI captures the info and instantly texts you (or the right team member). You can also set escalation rules — certain keywords or call types warm-transfer to your cell. Growth and Pro tiers support multiple transfer numbers based on call type.
Can the AI actually book appointments?
Yes. The AI can check your calendar availability and book appointments live on the call (Growth+ tier). It can also text the caller a scheduling link if you prefer. Works with Cal.com, Calendly, or your existing calendar via integration.
Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. You can keep your existing business number and forward calls to Orzenta (after hours, when you're busy, or all the time), or you can get a new Orzenta number. Most customers forward their existing number so callers see no change. We'll help you set up forwarding during onboarding.
Are calls recorded?
Yes — every call is recorded and transcribed. You can review the full conversation in your dashboard. Recordings help you train the AI better over time and document what was discussed with each caller.
Does it work with my roofing software?
Pro tier includes API access plus Zapier integrations to connect AccuLynx, JobNimbus, Roofr, and 5,000+ other tools. On any tier, leads land in your CRM with the caller's name, number, address, damage type, and insurance status captured. Most integrations are configured during setup at no extra charge.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Month-to-month subscription, no cancellation fee, no contracts. Cancel anytime during the 7-day trial and you won't be charged. After the trial, cancel through your Stripe customer portal (link in your receipt email) or email us at hello@orzenta.com. Annual buyers receive a prorated refund on cancellation.
